Mıranda Keyes - Istanbul Exhibition

For her first exhibition in Istanbul, British artist Miranda Keyes presents a series of works created between her London studio and the historical furnaces of Murano. Known for her visceral, process-driven approach to glass, Miranda moves beyond traditional forms to explore a language that is contemporary yet deeply rooted in a rich historical lineage. Her practice traverses ancient Roman goblets, Dutch Golden Age still lifes, Venetian glassmaking traditions, and London’s now-lost glass industry, while maintaining a distinctly modern sensibility.

With Istanbul in mind, a city positioned at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, where different temporalities coexist. Miranda has envisioned her most ambitious pieces to date.
